Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Kingsley Veterinary Hospital is closely monitoring the developing situation with COVID-19. We are following the updated reports and advice from the Australian Dept of Health.
The health and welfare of our patients, clients and veterinary staff are of paramount importance to us. We will aim to provide the highest standard of care possible and we will always be available for advice.
What are we doing at our hospital
As you can appreciate the COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly and we are following both the Department of Health and Australian Veterinary Association recommendations.
We are now undertaking contactless consultations with our patients. We aim to provide you and your pet with the best care possible and this will rely on communication as well as examination. To minimise risk to our staff we will admit your pet to the hospital and discuss history, examination and care with you via telephone. All treatments where applicable will be undertaken at the hospital. If further treatments or referral are required these will be done as normal.
We have divided our vets and nurses into two separate teams to ensure that we will have continuity in the event of staff contracting COVID.
We are dedicated to the needs of our patients and will aim to be available when required. We are establishing a telemedicine capability in the event that clients are unable to bring their pets to the hospital.
Our online booking system will be suspended temporarily so please call us to make an appointment.
If you have made an appointment please call when you are in the carpark and we will respond ASAP.
